An All Terrain Mobility Scooter Gives Mom Mobility
My elderly mother has been housebound for the last year. If she left the house for family outings, she would lose her breath and become weak. It seemed if she took more than 10 steps, she would become very ill for the next hour. Mom would become very depressed if we suggested a wheelchair. After watching a late night infomercial, we decided to look at getting her an All Terrain Mobility Scooter.
We looked at the Hummer XL Four Wheel Scooter. This All Terrain Mobility Scooter specialized in being able to handle steep hills and inclines. It could go up to 8.2 miles per hour and travel up to 35 miles on a single charge. This scooter was a little too powerful for mom. Wanting something a little more light and convenient we looked at the Easy Travel Elite. This scooter weighs just 54 pounds, but wasn't the All Terrain Mobility Scooter we wanted.
We went with the Titan Heavy Duty High Performance All Terrain Mobility Scooter. This scooter with its sleek, modern design and Com-Fort-Sit seat made with memory form, turns heads as it goes by. The 99 pound Titan can be folded up and separated into two pieces within seconds, making it easy to transport and assemble. It is rear wheel drive, has reverse, turn signals, tail lights and a front headlight. It can be used indoors or outdoors giving its owner a chance to experience an independent and active life. The Titan's top speed is 7.5 mph and can travel up to 19 miles on a single charge.

Since we have gotten the Titan, mom's life has turn around. No longer does she dread family events. She has attended ball games, graduations and birthdays. She no longer has to depend on family members to pick up her groceries. Now she hops in the Titan, travels the mile and a half to the store, shop and bring the groceries back to the house. Last weekend, she even went to the amusement park with our family. She was able to travel from one end of the park to the other in her Titan. It was a pleasure seeing her enjoyment along with her grand kids. The Titan has definitely changed all of our lives. |
