Amigo Mobility Scooters Sets You Free
Amigo Mobility Scooters are not just for seniors or those disabled, anyone having problems with walking long distances would benefit from owning a scooter.
One scooter is good for travel as it is lightweight and comes apart easily for storage. This scooter is called TravelMate. Anyone under 350 pounds can use this scooter safely. When taking apart this scooter, the heaviest piece weighs only 23 pounds which is a manageable amount of weight. This use of this scooter is suggested for travel be it on an airplane, RV camper, car trips. It has an electromagnetic braking system and has a release that is manual. The seat is well cushioned and moves 360 degrees for easier access getting both on the scooter or off of the scooter. The cost for this style starts at $1294.00.
Other Amigo Mobility Scooters have different pricing. The next one I liked is called Amigo Classic FD. It has the same breaking system which is the electromagnetic braking system and also has a release that is manual. This one can also be used for travel as it is considered a light weight but can accommodate a person weighing up to 250 pounds. So that is a 100 pound difference between the TravelMate and the Amigo Classic FD. This also has a well padded seat that can turn 360 degrees. The base on this unit does not come apart as does the first scooter I discussed. Pricing starts at $1994.00.

Amigo Mobility Scooters also have a scooter for the larger person up to 6 feet tall. This is a heavier scooter that is just right for those needing extra room and a scooter that will hold the weight. This scooter is called EXT350. It has a longer platform so that your legs have plenty of room and it also has longer handles. Pricing starts at $2890.00. Insurance will pay either partially or fully for Amigo Mobility Sccoters when there is a medical need. However, it will depend upon what insurance you have and a salesperson can assist you. The salespeople are well versed in insurances and know what type of insurance covers these costs and what insurance companies do not. |
